<font style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><font face="Calibri, sans-serif"><font style="font-size:11pt" size="2">As reações químicas que envolvem catálise heterogênea ocorrem na interface entre um catalisador sólido e um meio reacional em fase fluida. As propriedades

 da superfície, a estrutura e a composição química são determinantes para o desempenho do catalisador nessas reações, objetivando sempre controlar a atividade, seletividade e estabilidade. Nesta apresentação mostramos os princípios físicos envolvidos e resultado

 de alguns estudos de sistemas catalíticos heterogêneos por espectroscopia de fotoelétrons (XPS) e por difração de raios-X (DRX) in situ.</font></font></font></p>
